Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire

Is that Bigfoot at left, reading over Marianne O'Connor's shoulder? Marianne will be here on Wednesday, January 23, at 7 pm to present Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire, which is based on her book of the same name. She will share stories of ghosts and other hauntings on some of the Granite State's premier hiking trails.  Her 90-minute multi-media presentation is full of spooky surprises and features such legends as Devil's Den in New Durham, Chief Chocorua in Tamworth, Sasquatch of Ossipee, the Bomber Plane in Woodstock, and a murder mystery involving actress Bette Davis in Franconia.

Marianne is an educator in the Nashua schools and a contributor to The Hippo. This event is for adults and young people age 10 and up. Registration is advised by visiting our calendar, calling 424-5021, or emailing. Marianne will bring copies of her books for purchase ($12.95) with cash or personal check. Will she bring Bigfoot, too? Well, you never know...
