It's a Wonderful Life!

Pontine Theatre will present It’s a Wonderful Life on Wednesday, December 5, at 7 pm. Pontine’s Artistic Directors, M. Marguerite Mathews and Greg Gathers, perform a two-person, condensed version of the Frank Capra movie screenplay about George Bailey, a good man in a small town who gets a lesson in self-worth from his guardian angel. The actors bring the story to the stage with a unique combination of shadow puppets, bunraku-style puppets, commedia dell’arte-style masks, live action and a score featuring popular holiday carols. Following the 40-minute performance, audience members are invited on stage to meet the performers and get a closeup look at the set and props. You can visit Pontine Theatre's website at this link.

This presentation is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library and is suitable for adults, teens, and children age 10 and up. Reservations are recommended by visiting the library’s calendar, emailing or calling 424-5021.
