Mark Twain talks...and he has plenty to say.

Mark Twain, as portrayed by actor Bern Budd, will speak at the Merrimack Library on Wednesday, May 23, at 7 pm. This is Budd's second appearance in Merrimack as the celebrated humorist and raconteur, author of such American classics as The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Life on the Mississippi.

Budd's topic for this visit will be Mark Twain's Advice to Humanity, and will include instructions on essential life skills like lying, swearing and building character. The audience will meet Twain during his world tour, before he began to wear his trademark white suit.

This event is expected to fill the Klumpp Room to capacity, so reservations are strongly advised. Those who reserve will be seated first, with any empty seats filled  at 7 pm. You can reserve seats by visiting our calendar of events, emailing, or calling 424-5021. Thanks to the Friends of the Merrimack Library for co-sponsoring this event.
