She's back...Linda Gray Kelley as Eve and other notorious Biblical women

Linda Gray Kelley (Elizabeth Blackwell, "Come to Spoon River") returns to the library on Thursday, April 19, at 7 pm, for another one-woman show, "Women of the Bible: The Good Girls and the Bad Girls." This time, Kelley will portray four women from the old testament, bringing them to life in all their contradictions. Even the good girls have their flaws, as you'll see. This fun, colloquial piece lets us look into these characters as if they lived next door.

Kelley is a professional actress and principal of Theatre Rising Unlimited, a traveling production company known for its one-woman performances. She has presented her unique shows for libraries, conferences, retirement facilities and other venues in New England, and now Florida, where she has recently relocated. We are delighted to have her back at MPL. You can learn more about her at her website.

This program is suitable for adults and teens. We thank the Friends of the Library for generous co-sponsorship. So that we can plan for munchies and seats, we'd appreciate it if you would register on our web calendar. You can also email us, or call 424-5021 to save your seat.
