Merrimack Public Library will present “Among the Clouds: Life at the Mount Washington Observatory” on Wednesday, February 9 at 7 p.m. Author, nature photographer, and outdoor enthusiast Eric Pinder will share anecdotes from his 7 years spent as a weather observer atop New England’s highest peak. Pinder teaches at Chester College of New England and is the author of several books, including Tying Down the Wind, North to Katahdin, and Cat in the Clouds, a children’s book about Nin, the MWO cat. Books will be available for autographing and purchase with cash or personal check. The program is free and open to adults and children age 10 and up.
