Amherst author Jean Rogers leads a workshop for families who need help balancing media in kids' lives. This workshop is geared towards parent and caregivers of children up to age 12. Participants will learn how TV habits have changed over time, explore proven methods for setting time and content guidelines for children, examine the positive aspects of television such as sharing sporting and cultural events, gain practical advice that may be implemented at home, in daycares, classrooms and other settings to achieve a more healthy environment for our children.
This workshop is co-sponsored with St. James Preschool, Merrimack. It is open to adults and older teens with no fees involved. Due to limited space, registration is strongly recommended by clicking here.
