Going Wild at the Library!

That's an auk on the left, and it's one of the stars of wildlife photographer John Rockwood's new multimedia show, "Puffins and Auks and Muirs...Oh, My," which he will present at the library on Thursday, July 8, at 7 pm.

If you saw John's presentations on loons (starring Grapenut) and Yellowstone National Park wildlife, you'll appreciate how interesting and entertaining his presentations are. John doesn't just photograph wildlife; he gets up close and personal, and, in the case of Grapenut, really becomes chummy with the critters. And what funny stories he can tell about them! Did you hear the one about the osprey who......?

John and his wife, Sue, have been travelling about from their home base in Auburn to assemble some new shows, and I'm delighted to have them back this summer. John's previous visits have been big hits. Previous attendees have said, "Very informative and beautiful photography!" and "The presentation was fantastic!"

Due to John's popularity, we expect this event to "sell out," so we strongly recommend reservations by clicking here. This program is for adults, but children age 6 and up may come with adults. Hope to see you there!
