That's Fred Marple (aka humorist and singer Ken Sheldon) on the left, the unofficial ambassodor of Frost Heaves, NH, where anything can happen--and probably will. Ken will be at the library for "An Evening With Fred Marple" on Wednesday, September 23 at 7 pm.
Fred has a unique view of New Hampshire and his hometown's place in the universe. He'll tell you all about the local residents and their adventures. Life sure is interesting in Frost Heaves, a town you may very well recognize. Maybe you have a civic-minded next door neighbor just like Fred.
You can visit Fred's website at www.frostheaves.com and see the video diary of his recent trip to Washington to get some of the "stimulation" money. Fred's always looking for ways to improve Frost Heaves, and he'll share some of his ideas with our audience.
Janet's in charge of this program, but you can bet I'll be in the audience for the "2009 Best Granite State Variety Show" as voted by the editors of New Hampshire Magazine. Hope you will be, too. Fred's sure to draw a big crowd, so you'll want to reserve your seat soon by calling 424-5021 or emailing. As Fred would probably say, it's hard to see the show from the parking lot.
