Re-Live the Golden Days of Rock 'n' Roll

WBZ radio personality Mel Simons returns to the library on Tuesday, February 3 at 7 p.m. for "The Golden Days of Rock 'n' Roll," a look back at the stars and hits of the '60s. Forty-five years ago, the Beatles arrived on our shores and popular music changed forever. Do you remember? I sure do. I was just x@! years old when they made their first appearance on Ed Sullivan. Where did the time go?

Mel will share stories and clips of Elvis Presley, Fats Domino, the Platters and other pioneers and legends of rock 'n' roll. Seating is limited, and registration is strongly recommended by calling 424-5021 or emailing. So put on your blue suede shoes and come on down.
