A Look at the Summer Sky

The library will host “A Look at the Summer Sky” on Tuesday, August 19, from 8-9:30 p.m. (Note the late start time.) Educators from the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium will take you on a tour of the night sky. The program will begin in the Klumpp Room, then, weather-permitting, participants will go outside to view the stars through telescopes in the library’s parking lot. If it's overcast or raining our now-daily evening shower, the experience will be duplicated inside. This program is for adults, but they may be accompanied by children age 6 and up. So that everyone can enjoy the view, the audience will be limited to 45 and this program is filling up fast, so registration is strongly recommended by calling 424-5021 or emailing.
