Ben Hastie in Concert

Merrimack acoustic performer Ben Hastie will perform a selection of his own indie and alternative music at the library on Tuesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. Maybe you already know Ben. He's that nice guy who works at the library's circulation desk and often answers the phone. But in his other life, Ben is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter who plays guitar, bass, keyboard and drums. Currently on a short east coast tour, Ben has been performing locally, including a gig at Manchester's Milly's Tavern in April and another recently at Abbie Griffin Park. He has a CD titled 41.1, which will be for sale at the concert along with t-shirts. We are very proud of Ben and know he will go far. Won't you join us for a chance to hear him before he becomes famous? Seating will be cafe-style and limited, so we recommend you call 424-5021 or email us to reserve a seat. You can read more about Ben on the web at www.myspace.com/benhastie.
