Make Your Own Kind of Music

The library will host a Songwriters' Workshop on Wednesday, April 23, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Beverly Rush, New England folk singer/songwriter and touring artist of the NH State Council for the Arts, will lead this free workshop for teens and adults as part of the Merrimack Community Arts program. Participants will begin the journey of writing a song and explore contemporary songwriting and creative expression. Bring a notebook and pen -- no instruments or experience are required. We are grateful to Beverly for bringing free arts programs to the library. Beverly will return to the library next month for a concert. We'll have more about that in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, plan to attend the songwriters' workshop and find your own voice. Space is limited so registration is recommended. Save your seat by calling 424-5021 or emailing the library.
