Family Tree Bowtie?

I'm getting ready for another Genealogy Databases Class at the library on Friday, May 9 at 1 PM. The class offers an overview of the three genealogy databases that the Merrimack Public Library subscribes to. Besides Ancestry.com, HeritageQuest and New England Ancestors, the library has links for further searching at http://www.merrimack.lib.nh.us/reference/genea.shtml
Cyndi's List, for example, has thousands of suggestions on how to get started, refining searches, histories, databases, and documentation techniques.
A question about different styles of genealogy charts revealed numerous formats for mapping your family tree. http://www.misbach.org/pdfcharts/ offers a Bow Tie chart, a Fan Chart, special family trees for kids and even a leafy tree version. It can be difficult to fit all those names in the traditional form, and the various styles can give a change of pace that adds fun to your ancestrial search.
If you are interested in the library class, give us a call, or shoot off an e-mail.
