Our favorite acoustic musician, Jeff Snow, will visit Merrimack on Thursday, March 27, for a concert in the Klumpp Room. Jeff has become an annual event for us since his first concert here in 2005. Jeff hails from Wilbraham, MA, and March is always a busy month for him. His repertoire of classic and contemporary music--much of it reflecting his Scottish heritage--is popular at this time of year, and he will be wrapping up his March tour in Merrimack. He says that when he's put on his last clean shirt, he knows it's time to go home!
Jeff has two excellent CDs, and they will be for sale at $15.00 each (cash or personal check) at the concert. Ruah, Spirit of the Wind, is all instrumental, and the aptly-titled simply amazing, his second recording, features some vocals as well. Jeff plays guitar, autoharp, and bouzouki, as well as 12-string guitar and banjo. I'm never sure just what instruments he'll unpack and play, but I promise you won't be disappointed.
Jeff will play from 7 to 8:30 p.m., with a short intermission. We'll serve refreshements, so we hope you'll let us know if you plan to attend so we'll have enough chairs and munchies ready. You can call us at 424-5021 or email to reserve seats.
