Black Friday: the day after Thanksgiving is upon us. Retail executives like to call it that because it brings their companies "into the black" for the year as it marks the official start of the holiday shopping season...oh wait, the holiday shopping season now starts on the weekend before Halloween. As I was saying Black Friday is the day when retail execs look to balance their books, but ask any retail front liner and the meaning becomes more tongue-in-cheek.
Anyways there is no way I will be getting up at 4:00 AM to take advantage of the once in a lifetime sale opportunities out there. I think I might actually try to do more shopping online this year, I definitely won't miss the crowds. I bet a lot of you feel the same as me so let me show you some links that might make you feel better about sleeping in on Friday morning while missing out on those deep discounts.
When you are filling out your billing information on the website you are going to make a purchase from check to see if there is a promotional code field. If there is, these links may help you get a discount with the promotional codes they provide. If you want to see if there are more codes out there other than these sites do an internet search for "coupon codes." Caveat emptor.
