Pet Project!

Who could resist this adorable face? Maeve is ready for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of NH. On Thursday, August 23, at 7 p.m., some of Maeve's animal friends will visit the Merrimack Public Library for “Meet Your Match at the Animal Rescue League of NH” Danielle Hastings, Director of Adoptions and Customer Service, and Maureen Prendergast, Animal Cruelty Investigator, Community Outreach, and Dog Obedience Instructor, will present an informative program on animal adoption. The program will cover the League's match-based adoption program and how counselors can guide people through the process to find the right animal. They will also discuss what to expect when you take an animal home and what resources are available to help you start a successful life with your new pet. A few adoptable animals will be on hand. Even if you are not planning to adopt, this program will give you a good introduction to the responsibilities of pet ownership. The whole family is invited. Seating is limited and registration is recommended by calling 424-5021 or emailing.
