Homework Help for Frazzled Students and Parents

When it comes to homework assignments and research projects, you’ve got lots of help at the library. Use the online catalog in the library and from home to find books and AV materials for school assignments. The librarians will be glad to help you.

Even if the library is closed, you can use our online resources. We have newspaper and magazine indexes with full text retrieval, a science database with science project ideas, a literary criticism product, databases for world history and cultures, and resources especially designed for students in the elementary grades. Visit our web site at http://www.merrimack.lib.nh.us/ and click on Databases to see a list of our online resources, most of which can be viewed from home using your Merrimack Library card.

Also on our homepage, click on Reference and scroll to the bottom of that page to see categories of recommended sites on a variety of topics. Select Homework Help to see some great sources for homework assistance.

To make the most of your library visit, don’t forget to bring paper or note cards, pens or pencils, a copy of the assignment directions, money for photocopies and printouts, and, of course, your library card.
