A Life Behind the Badge

Author Joseph Horak will appear at the library on Monday, June 11, at 7 p.m. to talk about his new book Pride and Honor: Behind the Badge. Horack will talk about his four decades of New Hampshire police work and some of the challenging cases he cracked.

Horak last visited the library in 2004 to talk about the 1973 murders of Merrimack teens Diane Compagna and Anne Psaradelis. That unsolved murder was the subject of his earlier book Justice Denied. In his new book, Horak names names in that case, and I'm sure he'll have some things to say about it at the program.

Copies of the books will be available for sale and signing, cash or check accepted. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended by calling 424-5021 or email.
