Sometimes the Internet feels like it's here today and gone tomorrow. Not so. Librarians and others are working hard to archive information on Web sites that would otherwise no longer be accessible. The University of North Texas Libraries and the U.S. Government Printing Office have created CyberCemetary to provide "permanent public access to the Web sites and publications of defunct U.S. government agencies and commissions."

For other archived Web sites check out the Internet Archive's Way Back Machine.

Oh and those embarrassing emails you thought you deleted... they're not really gone either.
