Youth Art Month at the Library

March is Youth Art Month, and to celebrate this the library is hosting dozens of pieces of art created by students at Merrimack High School. The art will be displayed in the hallway on the lower level of the library starting Monday March 5. The display will continue through Sunday March 31.

I know that the library is very excited to have the artwork here again, and I get the feeling that the high school art department, and their students are delighted as well. To cap Youth Art Month off the library will also be hosting a reception for the students that have participated in Youth Art Month. This reception will be held in the library's meeting room. For myself last year's reception was the best part of Youth Art Month here at the library. I really enjoyed the chance to meet the young artists, their proud parents, and their teachers. The reception will be held on Sunday March 25, from 2:00-4:00.
